Culture
The range of cultural activities available in Empuriabrava is wide and attractive. When you stay with us you can visit the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes, Besalu, with its fascinating mediaeval architecture; the ecological flour factory in Castelló d’Empúries: the Dalí Museum and the Toy Museum in Figueres; or Peralada Castle.

Not to be missed: Roses water park (10 km), the Romanesque Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes (30 km), the mediaeval village of Pals (40 km), the mediaeval cathedral of Castelló d’Empúries (5 km), the mediaeval village of Besalú (50 km), Girona (40 km), the natural park of the volcanic area of La Garrotxa (70 km), the mediaeval town of Peratallada (45 km), the Greco-Roman ruins of Empúries (51 km), the lake of Banyoles (70 km), Cadaqués, Port de la Selva (70 km) and Barcelona (150 km).
Nature
Visit the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park, where you can observe protected species of fauna. Enjoy cruises along the canals and the Costa Brava or hire an eco-boat to visit the canals one by one. You can also go deep-sea fishing and rent all kinds of boats with or without a skipper, take sailing courses, etc.
Sports
Parachuting centre, tennis, horse riding, karting, ultralights, squash, football, gymnastics, cycling… The area is ideal for sports enthusiasts. What’s more, in Figueres (14 km) you will find athletics tracks for groups. Explore the seabed of the protected areas of the Medes Islands and Cap de Creus.
Leisure
You can visit two casinos: the one in Peralada (20 km) and the one in France, called Le Boulou (70 km). On the beaches in the area, you can go windsurfing, jet-skiing, banana-boarding, parasailing, beach volleyball, water-skiing…
